MID LEVEL ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY: TRUSTS AND ESTATES SECTION

The Associate Attorney will work together with our existing team of Attorneys and 6 professional staff to provide outstanding services to the Firm’s expanding base of clients throughout California.The Firm’s Estate Planning, Trust & Probate Section seeks an associate with 3-5 years experience in; Estate Planning, Trust Administration and Probate. The ideal candidate will have both the desire and ability to become a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust & Probate Law. Assignments will include counseling clients on Estate Planning, drafting of Estate Plans, representing Trustees in the administration of Trusts, representing Executors in the administration of Probates.

Candidates should have significant law firm experience drafting documents, tracking billable time, managing a file from retention to closing. Distinguished academic record from a nationally recognized law school and exceptional research, writing and verbal communication skills are essential. Candidate must be a current and active member of the California State Bar.

Competitive benefits and compensation package are commensurate with experience. Associate salaries are based on years of experience and bonus consideration is given for productivity and performance.

LEGAL ASSISTANT: TRUSTS AND ESTATES SECTION

We have an exciting opportunity to join our growing Estate Planning, Trust/Probate Administration and Long Term Care Planning (Elder Law) Firm.  This position demands a responsible and organized professional to support the Attorneys and liaison with the clients.  We are extremely service oriented and pride ourselves on helping our multi-generational clients.  This position is demanding and fast-paced, yet extremely rewarding.

The ideal candidate must be driven to serve, have extreme attention to detail, and substantive knowledge of Estate Planning, Trust/Probate and/or Medi-Cal benefits.  Excellent time management and computer skills are required to excel in this position.  Experience in Hot Docs and Time Matters or other practice/business management software is a plus. We offer competitive benefits after successful completion of 90 day probationary period.
